We have reached that auspicious time of the year after the Bhadra Purnima festival when we will celebrate the 3rd edition of the annual Book Are The Basis Week. 11th to 17th September this year is dedicated on the ISKCON calendar to encourage Srila Prabhupada\u2019s followers to read the Bhaktivedanta purports everyday. The GBC Executive Committee Chairman, His Holiness Bhanu Maharaja, has kindly offered an inaugural address to invoke auspiciousness for this festival.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

I seek your support to inform the members in your temple, congregations and online sanghas to observe the festival. The simple steps to observe the festival locally are illustrated on the attached festival poster. In order to serve the purpose of this festival, the Ministry collaborates with prominent ISKCON leaders around the world to make inspirational content. This year, we are organizing several presentations and podcasts that will focus on one of Srila Prabhupada’s books for each day of the week. Such content will be broadcast through Social media platforms, ISKCON news channels and email forums. In addition, we are making a special offering to Srila Prabhupada this year in the form of a book titled \u201cConscious Reading\u201d. An electronic copy of it will be circulated for your feedback shortly. <\/strong><\/p>\n
