I was shocked, confused, bewildered<\/p>\n

As I entered Goloka\u2019s door;<\/p>\n

Not by the beauty of it all,<\/p>\n

Nor the light or its decor.<\/p>\n

But it was the devotees in Goloka<\/p>\n

That I was amazed to see;<\/p>\n

I knew them all on the earth<\/p>\n

But they had so little bhakti.<\/p>\n

There stood my sankirtan leader<\/p>\n

The one who stole Krsna\u2019s money twice;<\/p>\n

Next to him was my old TP<\/p>\n

Who was never ever nice.<\/p>\n

Krsna Das, who never preached,<\/p>\n

Who seemed so insincere,<\/p>\n

Was sitting ecstatically with Krsna,<\/p>\n

To whom he seemed so dear.<\/p>\n

I asked my guru, \u201cWhat\u2019s going on?<\/p>\n

Of this I don\u2019t know what to make.<\/p>\n

How\u2019d all these \u2018devotees end up here?<\/p>\n

Did someone make a mistake?\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd why is everyone so quiet,<\/p>\n

So somber \u2013 give me a clue.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cQuite, prabhu,\u201d He said, \u201cthey\u2019re all in shock.<\/p>\n

No one thought they\u2019d be seeing you.\u201d<\/p>\n

JUDGE NOT!!<\/p>\n

Remember\u2026 Just going to temple doesn\u2019t make you a devotee any more than standing in your garage makes you a car.<\/p>\n

And a temple is NOT a museum of saints but a hospital for fallen souls.<\/p>\n

Every saint has a past\u2026<\/p>\n
