On the auspicious occasion of Gita Jayanti, there were 3 exhibitions of 3D Models based on topics from Bhagavad Gita As It Is, presented by hundreds of School Students trained by NICE (Narasimha Institute for Children Education) – an education of ISKCON Mira Road. <\/span><\/p>\n

By the mercy of Sri Sri Guru and Gauranga, these Exhibitions were held at 3 of the top private (ICSE Board) schools in Mumbai – N.L.Dalmia High School, Kapol Vidyanidhi International School and Shailendra Education Society. Prior to this exhibition, ‘Value Education Classes’ based on ‘Bhagavad Gita’ shlokas, were systematically conducted for 1<\/span>st<\/span><\/sup> to 10<\/span>th<\/span><\/sup> Grade classes in the schools by NICE Teachers. Lot of planning and training was done, which was made possible by the support of the School Principals, Event Co-ordinators, the School Management & the Staff. <\/span><\/p>\n

H.G.Kamala Lochan Prabhuji (the temple president of ISKCON Mira Road) addressed the students, parents and teachers on the importance of Bhagavad Gita and Sanskrit Language<\/span><\/p>\n

Few more highlights of the event were <\/span><\/p>\n

– <\/span>ISKCON Devotees had set up Book Marathon stalls which really attracted the crowd, leading to distribution of many Bhagavad Gita books<\/span><\/p>\n

– <\/span>ISKCON Food for life programme distributed prasadam to everyone in the school<\/span><\/p>\n

– <\/span>Children from 5 to 15 years of age recited Bhagavad Gita Shlokas along with the translations by heart<\/span><\/p>\n
