{"id":10634,"date":"2012-06-28T06:39:45","date_gmt":"2012-06-28T05:39:45","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.dandavats.com\/?p=10634"},"modified":"2012-06-28T06:39:45","modified_gmt":"2012-06-28T05:39:45","slug":"grand-celebration-of-jagannath-rath-yatra-2012-in-bangalore-india","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.dandavats.com\/?p=10634","title":{"rendered":"Grand Celebration of Jagannath Rath Yatra 2012 in Bangalore, India"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>By Bh.Prashant<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>ISKCON Kumaraswamy Layout,Bangalore Celebrated it&#8217;s 2nd Jagannath Rath Yatra festival in south Bangalore on<\/p>\n<p>21st June 2012.<\/p>\n<p>Hundreds of devotees assembled at Sri Puttalingaiah Play Ground, Padmanabhanagar to take blessings of<\/p>\n<p>their Lordships Jagannath, Baladeva and Subhdra Mayi seated on beautifully decorated chariot.<\/p>\n<p>Many distinguished guests and dignitaries were present to grace the occasion.<\/p>\n<p>Chief among them are HH Bhakti vinod swami Maharaj,ISKCON Leader and senior disciple of HH<\/p>\n<p>Jayapataka swami Maharaj,HG Shyamsundar Prabhu,direct disciple of Srila Prabhupada,Kannada Cine Actors<\/p>\n<p>Roopashree,Sa re gama Viji,Mr.Saravanan proprietor of Sri Sai Gold Palace, Dr. S.K Jain,Noted<\/p>\n<p>Astrologer,HG Varada Krishna Prabhu, Head of Nava Narasimha Temple,Smt. Prabha Venkatesh Murty,Wife of D Venkatesh Murthy- Worshipful Mayor of Bangalore,Smt. Yashoda Srinivas,wife of Deputy Major,Bangalore  and other VIPs.<\/p>\n<p>The Program started with invocation of vedic mantras and vaishnava songs by Vaishanavi forum<\/p>\n<p>members.<\/p>\n<p>HH Bhakti vinod swami Maharaj spoke about wonderful pastime about appearance of Lord jagannath and<\/p>\n<p>stressed the importance of spiritual life.<\/p>\n<p>Dr. S.k Jain , renowned astrologer who has become a house hold name in Karnataka through his popular<\/p>\n<p>TV program on UDAYA TV inspired everyone to take up chanting of Hare Krishna maha mantra.<\/p>\n<p> Rath Yatra was started with traditional rituals and elaborate offerings to their lordships.<\/p>\n<p>Rath Yatra was inaugurated by HH Bhakti vinod swami Maharaj.
