There comes a time when human kind
\ndescends to most degraded.
\nWhen basic need is fixed on greed
\nand honesty\u2019s dissuaded.<\/p>\n
A fallen age of selfishness
\nwhen no one trusts another,
\nAnd a life within the womb,
\nis aborted by the mother.<\/p>\n
But the Lord who loves us all,
\nhearing Sri Advaita\u2019s call,
\ndevised a plan to counter-act,
\nthe brutal ways of Maya\u2019s attack.<\/p>\n
Considering the state of affairs,
\nin a place where no one cares,
\nwith interest in oneself alone,
\nand hearts become as hard as stone,
\nA process with a guarantee
\nthat when followed would set you free,
\ndescended by the Lord\u2019s decree,
\nWhen He Proclaimed An Amnesty!<\/p>\n
Conditioned souls please gather here
\nin opened hearts will soon appear,
\nA sound that changes dark to light
\nmaking clear your inner sight.<\/p>\n
The Lord announces clemency
\nand breaks our chains to set us free.
\nBut first we must now clearly see,
\nwe\u2019ve been enslaved eternally.<\/p>\n
What we profess that gives us joy
\nis nothing more than Maya\u2019s toy.
\nShe\u2019ll make you think it\u2019s all you need
\nas you are strangled in your greed.<\/p>\n
But now the Lord has come again
\ngiving hope to all good men,
\nwho set aside the misconceptions
\nsteeped in illusion and deceptions.<\/p>\n
A benediction with new hope,
\na process with which we can cope.
\nFor in this age the mind\u2019s distracted,
\nto wicked deeds becomes attracted.<\/p>\n
What makes one worthy of such a gift?
\nWhen once received there is a shift.
\nAnd sinful yearnings thus depart,
\nas the Holy Name enters the heart.<\/p>\n
Lord Caitanya comes to give
\nthe greatest benediction.
\nNo one is excluded,
\nand there is no restriction.
\nThe Lord has now appeared in sound,
\nLet the world proclaim!
\nThere is not a trace of difference,
\nbetween Krsna and His Name.<\/p>\n
\u201c ‘The holy name of K\u1e5b\u1e63\u1e47a is transcendentally blissful. It bestows all spiritual benedictions, for it is K\u1e5b\u1e63\u1e47a Himself, the reservoir of all pleasure. K\u1e5b\u1e63\u1e47a’s name is complete, and it is the form of all transcendental mellows. It is not a material name under any condition, and it is no less powerful than K\u1e5b\u1e63\u1e47a Himself. Since K\u1e5b\u1e63\u1e47a’s name is not contaminated by the material qualities, there is no question of its being involved with m\u0101y\u0101. K\u1e5b\u1e63\u1e47a’s name is always liberated and spiritual; it is never conditioned by the laws of material nature.
