A biology professor from the University of Sydney, RIck Shine is currently travelling around Canada to talk about an invasive species of toad that he is studying, the cane toad. The cane toad has spread throughout Australia in the past century and has caused much destruction along the way.

We will then air an interview with Bhaktimarga Swami, a Hare Krishna monk who is walking across Canada. From Newfoundland to British Columbia, the monk hopes to spread the message about the importance of introspection through walking, especially in the busy work culture that has blossomed in our society.

Tune in to today’s show on CFRC 101.9FM at 5pm, through livestreaming on our website or right here.

Happy listening!

The News Collective

By Victoria Mattan

A 59 year old man originally from Chatham, Ontario is walking across the country.
