\nWith winter taking hold accompanied by a light drizzle to extract the last remaining colors of the fall leaves we bring you this update from Camp Bhaktivedanta Archives. <\/span>The quiet sleepy hollow of Prabhupada Village will for the next few weeks resonate with the sounds of construction in the service of A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada!<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n

\nBy the blessings and financial help from Vaisnavas all around the world, the long awaited new vault construction has started and is well on its way!!! <\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/div>\n
\n\u201cAll systems are go\u201d<\/i><\/span> and the excitement here is palpable.<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n

Over the last 28 years, I have had the great fortune to develop a wide array of both hard and soft skills. From planning, organizing, directing and realizing construction projects, to assisting individuals achieve a more fulfilling and balanced life through life coaching and leadership training.<\/p>\n

I started in construction in 1988 while a full time resident of the Montreal Hare Krishna Temple. Construction has been my livelihood since 1989. Since then, I have been involved in a broad variety of construction projects: from completely rebuilding pre-American-Civil-War plantation homes, to contracting modern 3-story highly energy-efficient residences, to constructing a timber frame structure using almost exclusively non-electric tools, etc.<\/p>\n

While living for 9 years in Prabhupada Village, Sandy Ridge, North Carolina, I obtained a State contractor\u2019s license and built about a dozen homes, specializing in Insulating Concrete Forms (ICF\u2019s), the medium we will use to build Srila Prabhupada\u2019s vault. It is during that period that I have met and successfully completed many projects with Barry Moxley, from Moxley Construction, Inc., with whom I will partner on this vault project.<\/p>\n

Today, I own a small volume, hands-on, high quality construction company specializing in low maintenance, energy-efficient construction. I work in the residential, institutional and light commercial markets.<\/p>\n

In the last 2 years, I have developed an interest in natural building techniques, hoping to use a combination of some of such techniques in developing a devotional Eco-village project.<\/p>\n

In the last 3 years, I have trained for, and completed 3 full marathons (26.2 miles or 42.2 KM), including, in 2011, the highly revered Boston marathon.<\/p>\n

Some additional abilities I have developed over the years are a capacity to communicate clearly in high stress situations, being teamwork-oriented as well as adapting smoothly to changing conditions.<\/p>\n

Compassionate yet authentic communication are my trademarks, I\u2019m a personal development coach and an enthusiastic speaker. I love to assist people resolve conflicts and work together. I have recently embarked on a 2 year training on Conflict Resolution and Consensus Building.<\/p>\n

I\u2019m a Canadian citizen. I live in Florida with my wife, Bhakti-lata, my 2 daughters, Manjari & Ulupi, and their family. <\/p>\n
