The Mayapur Institute is happy to announce that it will conduct “Bhagavata-pravesa”, an eight-month study program on the primary writings of Srila Prabhupada and introductory Sanskrit in Sri Mayapur. <\/p>\n
Bhagavata-pravesa will be free for those who have been accepted as students, and will contain an intensive study of the standard Bhakti-sastri textbooks (Bhagavad-gita, Isopanisad, The nectar of instruction and The nectar of devotion) as well as Srimad-Bhagavatam (Canto 1, Chapters 1 to 3) and Caitanya-caritam\u1e5bta (Adi-lila, Chapter 7). There will also be classes on introductory Sanskrit. <\/p>\n
Those who have successfully completed this course will receive a Bhakti-sastri certificate issued by the ISKCON Board of Examinations as well as a Bhagavata-pravesa certificate issued by the Mayapur Institute. <\/p>\n
The course will function as a suitable entrance into the teachings of Srimad-Bhagavatam and students will be well-equipped for knowledgeable preaching of the Bhagavad-gita.<\/p>\n
