**Executive Summary: World Holy Name Festival Report 2023<\/p>\n
CALL TO ACTION FOR GBC MEMBERS<\/p>\n
More than 10% participation from the Global Centers is required. We need the help of the GBC to integrate this festival into the fabric of international ISKCON. <\/p>\n
Our goal for improving the festival next year is to seek the assistance of the GBC Members to have the World Holy Name Festival recognized by each ISKCON center as a hallmark festival on their annual calendar – Sept. 17 – 23. <\/p>\n

SUMMARY<\/p>\n
The ISKCON Kirtan Ministry conducted the annual World Holy Name Festival 2023 and witnessed active participation from 70 ISKCON temples worldwide, with a significant majority of 63 temples in Bharat. International involvement included prominent centers such as ISKCON EL Salvador, ISKCON Malaysia – Kuala Lumpur, ISKCON Mauritius – Phoenix, ISKCON Nepal, ISKCON Karachi, ISKCON Thailand – Bangkok, and ISKCON Thailand – Phuket.<\/p>\n
The festival activities reported by the participating centers encompassed a diverse range, including Fresh Air Kirtans, Kirtan Melas, Fortunate People Video Uploading, Additional Rounds of Japa Chanted, and a Japathon.<\/p>\n
Strategic planning sessions were conducted with the newly appointed GBC Executive Secretariat Members, including HG Parijata d.d. (Communications), HG Jaya Lalita d.d. (Administration), and ISKCON Kirtan Ministry Members. Their valuable contributions facilitated the production of engaging ISKCON News articles, enhancing the visibility and impact of the World Holy Name Festival. <\/p>\n
A geographical distribution analysis revealed that Reports were received from 90% of the Bharat Centers and 10% from International Centers, showcasing a robust engagement from the homeland. This distribution highlights the festival’s significant resonance within the Indian community while showcasing growing international participation. The collaborative efforts of both Bharat and International Centers underscore the festival’s success in fostering a global sense of spiritual unity through the chanting of the Holy Names.
