“Give Me Love”, is the new Hare Krishna centre in the heart of the famous
\nCamden Town, Central London, opened by the Prasad Distribution team
\nofficially known as Food for All, by the mercy of Srila Prabhupada.<\/p>\n

It’s already attracting so much attention, everyone wants a photo.<\/p>\n

*George:* Well, we should try to see God in everything, so it helps so much
\nhaving the food to taste. Let\u2019s face it, if God is in everything, why
\nshouldn\u2019t you taste Him when you eat? I think that *prasadam* is a very
\nimportant thing. Krsna is God, so He\u2019s absolute: His name. His form,
\n*prasadam,* it\u2019s all Him. They say the way to a man\u2019s heart is through his
\nstomach, so if you can get to a man\u2019s spirit soul by eating, and it works,
\nwhy not do it?<\/p>\n

There\u2019s nothing better than having been chanting and dancing, or just
\nsitting and talking philosophy, and then suddenly the devotees bring out
\nthe *prasadam.* It\u2019s a blessing from Krsna, and it\u2019s spiritually important.
\nThe idea is that *prasadam\u2019s* the sacrament the Christians talk about, only
\ninstead of being just a wafer, it\u2019s a whole feast, really, and the taste is
\nso nice\u2014it\u2019s out of this world. It\u2019s undoubtedly done a great deal toward
\ngetting a lot more people involved in spiritual life. *Prasadam *breaks
\ndown prejudices, too, because they think, \u201cOh, well, yes, I wouldn\u2019t mind a
\ndrink of whatever or a bite of that.\u201d Then they ask, \u201cWhat\u2019s this?\u201d and
\n\u201cOh, well, it\u2019s* prasadam.\u201d* And they get to learn another aspect of Krsna
\nconsciousness. Then they say, \u201cIt actually tastes quite nice. Have you got
\nanother plateful?\u201d I\u2019ve seen that happen with lots of people, especially
\nolder people I\u2019ve seen at your temples. Maybe they were a little
\nprejudiced, but the next thing you know, they\u2019re in love with *prasadam,* and
\neventually they walk out of the temple thinking, \u201cThey\u2019re not so bad after
\nall.\u201d<\/p>\n

*Mukunda:* The Vedic literatures reveal that *prasadam* conveys spiritual
\nrealization, just as chanting docs. You make spiritual advancement just by
\neating it.<\/p>\n

*George:* I\u2019d say from my experience that it definitely works. I\u2019ve always
\nenjoyed *prasadam* much more when I\u2019ve been at the temple, or when I\u2019ve
\nactually been sitting with Prabhupada, than when somebody\u2019s brought it to
\nme. Sometimes you can sit there with *prasadam* and find that three or four
\nhours have gone by and you didn\u2019t even know it. *Prasadam* really helped me
\na lot, because you start to realize \u201cNow I\u2019m tasting Krsna.\u201d You\u2019re
\nconscious suddenly of another aspect of God, understanding that He\u2019s this
\nlittle *samosa.* It\u2019s all just a matter of tuning into the spiritual, and
\n*prasadam\u2019s* a very real part of it all.<\/p>\n
