Then, His anger glowing like the Sudar\u015bana wheel, He immediately killed the demon [Hira\u1e47y\u0101k\u1e63a], although he tried to fight with the Lord.<\/p>\n<p>Purport<br \/>\nAccording to \u015ar\u012bla J\u012bva Gosv\u0101m\u012b, the Vedic literatures describe the incarnation of Lord Var\u0101ha (Boar) in two different devastations, namely the C\u0101k\u1e63u\u1e63a devastation and the Sv\u0101yambhuva devastation. This particular appearance of the boar incarnation actually took place in the Sv\u0101yambhuva devastation, when all planets other than the higher ones \u2014 Jana, Mahar and Satya \u2014 merged in the water of devastation.
