For the pleasure of their Lordships Jagannath, Baladeva and Subadra, Sri Sri Radha Krishna Chandra, Sri Sri Lakshmi Narasimha, Gaura-Nitai , Srila Prabhupada and the devotees we would like to present you with the report for the Monthly Sankirtan Festival of Honouring Gaura Purnima – “Whomever you meet, tell him about Krsna’s instructions\u201d. That took off in Feb 23, 2013 and concluded today.<\/p>\n

In Caitanya Caritamrta \u2013Madhya 7.128 \u2013 Chapter – The Lord Begins His Tour of South India, Explains:<\/p>\n

y\u0101re<\/a> dekha<\/a>, t\u0101re<\/a> kaha<\/a> ‘kr\u0323s\u0323n\u0323a<\/a>‘-upade\u015ba<\/a><\/p>\n

\u0101m\u0101ra<\/a> \u0101j\u00f1\u0101ya<\/a> guru<\/a> ha\u00f1\u0101<\/a> t\u0101ra<\/a>‘ ei<\/a> de\u015ba<\/a><\/p>\n

“Instruct everyone to follow the orders of Lord \u015ar\u012b<\/a> Kr\u0323s\u0323n\u0323a<\/a> as they are given in the Bhagavad-g\u012bt\u0101<\/a> and \u015ar\u012bmad<\/a>–Bh\u0101gavatam<\/a>. In this way become a spiritual master and try to liberate everyone in this land.”<\/p>\n

And in the purport – Sri Caitanya Caritamrita<\/a> Adi 17.78, Srila Prabhupada describes How to satisfy the Supreme Personality of Godhead, Krishna:<\/p>\n

The members of the International Society for Krishna Consciousness cannot even call themselves brahma<\/a>-bandhus. Therefore our only means for satisfying Krishna<\/a> is to pursue the injunctions of Lord Sri<\/a> Caitanya<\/a> Mahaprabhu<\/a>, who says:<\/p>\n

yare<\/a> dekha<\/a>, tare<\/a> kaha<\/a> ‘krishna<\/a>‘-upadesa<\/a><\/p>\n

amara<\/a> ajnaya<\/a> guru<\/a> hana<\/a> tara<\/a>‘ ei<\/a> desa<\/a><\/p>\n

“Whomever you meet, instruct him on the teachings of Krishna<\/a>. In this way, on My order, become a spiritual master and deliver the people of this country.” (Cc. Madhya<\/a> 7.128) Simply trying to follow the orders of Sri<\/a> Caitanya<\/a> Mahaprabhu<\/a>, we speak to the people of the world about Bhagavad-gita<\/a> As It Is. This will make us qualified to satisfy the Supreme Personality of Godhead, Krishna<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The goals for this MSF were:<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Create devotees list and form at least 2 sankirtan teams<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Distribute 5 CC Sets<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Distribute 1052 books<\/p>\n

We are pleased to report that these goals have been met, surpassed, and smashed!<\/p>\n

In keeping with the spirit of this MSF\u2019s theme, Bangalore Sankirtan devotees created a group \u201cBangalore Sankirtan Team<\/b>\u201d Googlegroup(s) that connect(s) all the book distribution leaders and distributors, and ongoing outreach to make friends with VIPs who can help the sankirtana effort, creating more visibility about book distribution and devotees made 3 sankirtan teams for weekend Book distribution. Devotees from Mathura Bace conducted massive book distribution in distinctive ways, beginning with the Sivaratri festival. In between, devotees participated in expansive distribution all over the Bangalore, including Railway Station, Subway, Temples, Companies and devotees got good no of BTG Subscription during book distribution.<\/p>\n

Every day devotees from the temple who go to distribute books at Majestic Subway location. On weekends we also have youth devotees who join. We distribute nearly 150 Big books every week from this location.<\/p>\n

ISKCON Sri Jagannath Madnir devotees held Hari Nama Sankirtana performances during the Ekadashi (March10, March24,) in Seshadripuram. During the Nagar Sankirtan devotees and kids distributed BTG magazines throughout the area. <\/p>\n

We would like to thank Sankirtana Co-coordinators for making it a big success.We also thank the Temple Management who gave us their support and guidance from time to time.<\/b> We would like to thank to those dedicated devotees who went out every single weekend starting from Feburary until last day of Monthly Sankirtan Festival. These goals would not have been met without their enthusiasm and spirited effort.<\/p>\n

Here are the final results of the Monthly Sankirtan Festival of Honouring Gaura Purnima – “Whomever you meet, tell him about Krsna’s instructions. <\/p>\n

In all We made 3 sankirtan teams and 20 Devotees participated in book distribution, _2<\/b>__ Srimad Bhagavatam sets, _8<\/b>__ Caitanya Caritamrta Sets, 1,145<\/b>__ small books,and _642<\/b>___ Big books were distributed.<\/p>\n

<\/a> \u00b7 Sankirtan Team Raised Rs \u2013 1,55,925 in Laxmi.<\/p>\n
