From book distribution milestones to self-sufficiency initiatives, the organization has made significant strides in various areas.<br \/>\nBook Distribution: A Record-Breaking Year<br \/>\nThe year 2024 marked an exceptional achievement in book distribution, with 71,446 books disseminated\u2014a 17.5% increase from the previous year. The annual marathon alone saw 33,845 books distributed, reflecting a 10.6% growth compared to 2023. These efforts align with the vision of spreading Krishna Consciousness through Srila Prabhupada\u2019s teachings, injecting spiritual wisdom into Hungarian society.<br \/>\nPrasadam Distribution: Feeding Thousands<br \/>\nISKCON Hungary continued its impactful Food for Life (FFL) program, distributing approximately 900,000 plates of hot meals to homeless individuals and delivering 300 tons of raw food nationwide. This initiative not only addresses hunger but also introduces recipients to the spiritual practice of prasadam, fostering compassion and community care.<br \/>\nNew Vraja Dhama: A Beacon of Sustainability<br \/>\nThe New Vraja Dhama farm community demonstrated its leadership in ecological farming and self-sufficiency. In 2024, the community produced:<br \/>\n29,000 liters of milk,<br \/>\n300 bales of hay,<br \/>\nVarious grains including wheat (6 tons), spelt (2.5 tons), barley (5 tons), rye (8 tons), and oats (6 tons),<br \/>\nFruits such as apples (1,950 kg), plums (720 kg), and experimental crops like Indian bananas (5 kg).<br \/>\nThe farm also expanded its agroforestry by planting 4.5 hectares and processed 620 m\u00b3 of firewood. Its Eco Valley Foundation hosted an eco-conference with 300 participants and published sustainability research materials, furthering education on ecological living.<br \/>\nFestivals: Celebrating Devotion<br \/>\nISKCON Hungary hosted vibrant festivals throughout the year that attracted thousands of devotees:<br \/>\nNrisimha Caturdasi and HH Sivarama Swami Vyasa-puja drew 700 attendees.<br \/>\nJanmastami celebrations welcomed 450 devotees.<br \/>\nGovardhana Puja gathered 660 participants.<br \/>\nThese events fostered spiritual connection and strengthened community bonds.<br \/>\nEducational Initiatives: Bhaktivedanta College<br \/>\nBhaktivedanta College in Budapest continued to excel as a state-accredited institution offering programs in Yoga Studies and Vaishnava Theology. In 2024:<br \/>\nEnrollment reached 310 students across BA and MA programs.<br \/>\nFaculty engaged in international collaborations, including guest lectures in Bhutan.<br \/>\nThe college progressed toward university status by advancing doctoral qualifications among its staff.<br \/>\nSocial Media Outreach: Expanding Influence<br \/>\nISKCON Hungary leveraged social media platforms to reach broader audiences:<br \/>\nTikTok gained significant traction with over 113,900 followers and videos amassing millions of views.<br \/>\nYouTube garnered over 2.4 million views across its KrishnaNews channel.<br \/>\nThese efforts brought Krishna Consciousness to younger demographics while maintaining engagement with existing followers.<br \/>\nDevotee Care and Community Development<br \/>\nThe organization prioritized devotee care through structured counseling groups and regular sanga gatherings involving over 200 devotees. Community festivals further enriched spiritual life for congregational members.<br \/>\nLooking Ahead: Plans for 2025<br \/>\nISKCON Hungary aims to sustain its momentum by:<br \/>\nExpanding infrastructure such as Gurukula facilities and a devotee health clinic.<br \/>\nEnhancing outreach programs like book distribution and congregational development.<br \/>\nContinuing its commitment to sustainability through innovative farming practices.<br \/>\nISKCON Hungary&#8217;s achievements in 2024 highlight its unwavering dedication to spiritual growth, self-sufficiency, community service, and ecological sustainability.
