“I want to have access to lots of Prabhupada’s spoken words on the web, all in one place”<\/p>\n

And have you ever thought?<\/p>\n

“I wish I could understand what Prabhupada is saying but I don’t speak English, or I can’t make out his accent.”<\/p>\n

And have you ever thought?<\/p>\n

“I want people from my country to receive the words of wisdom directly from Srila Prabhupada’s lotus mouth.”<\/p>\n

Now with the launching of Vanipedia’s multi-language subtitle project these three needs will be satisfied. We plan to create 1,080 1 to 10 minute clips of Srila Prabhupada’s recorded classes and conversations subtitled in 50+ languages. This collaborative project will hopefully become one of the most uniting forces of Srila Prabhupada’s multi-lingual family.<\/p>\n

Our first video that we prepared for Gaura Purnima titled “Expand to 10 Million” already has 35 languages subtitled. And 10 other videos have 6 languages. There are over 25 videos in Polish and over 30 in Latvian and German.<\/p>\n

At the moment we have 50 videos available in our Vanimeda YouTube channel. They are translated in Dotsub.com, a designated website for subtitles, by any devotees who want to help out.<\/p>\n
