Purnamasi Devi Dasi"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Translation<br \/>\nThe Emperor Sv\u0101yambhuva Manu, the son of Lord Brahm\u0101, who is well known for his righteous acts, has his seat in Brahm\u0101varta and rules over the earth with its seven oceans.<\/p>\n<p>Purport<br \/>\nSometimes it is stated that Brahm\u0101varta is a part of Kuruk\u1e63etra or that Kuruk\u1e63etra itself is situated in Brahm\u0101varta, because the demigods are recommended to perform spiritual ritualistic performances in Kuruk\u1e63etra. But in others\u2019 opinion, Brahm\u0101varta is a place in Brahmaloka, where Sv\u0101yambhuva ruled. There are many places on the surface of this earth which are also known in the higher planetary systems; we have places on this planet like V\u1e5bnd\u0101vana, Dv\u0101rak\u0101 and Mathur\u0101, but they are also eternally situated in K\u1e5b\u1e63\u1e47aloka. There are many similar names on the surface of the earth, and it may be that in the Boar age Sv\u0101yambhuva Manu ruled this planet, as stated here. The word ma\u1e45gala\u1e25 is significant. Ma\u1e45gala means one who is elevated in every respect in the opulences of religious performances, ruling power, cleanliness and all other good qualities.
