Kripamoya Prabhu: Gopichand Hinduja has passed, aged 85. While most may have regarded him as an astute businessman with a sprawling empire, or simply “Britain’s richest man,” the Vaishnava community knew him as something much more.
\nEach morning, before breakfast, he would visit London’s Radha-Krishna temple and take part in kirtan and darshan. His obvious enjoyment and infallible regularity signalled to us his growing devotion to Krishna.
\nSo too his kind and generous sponsorship of various ISKCON projects around the world, over many years.
\nI pray that he is now the recipient of an even greater wealth, Sri Krishna’s affectionate blessings upon his onward journey.<\/p>\n

\nI remember visiting him at his London office with Akhandadhi Das prabhu. He did a lot to help The Manor with it’s struggle with the local council many years ago. He was especially key in securing the land that enabled the bypass to the temple from the A41.<\/p>\n
