The more referred to here is in reference to more and better devotee relationships experienced by all at the annual interfaith\/12hr kitan event so nicely put together by Nitaigaurasundar prabhu and family.<\/p>\n
Murari’s Kirtan Valley is the village home of many of those who by dint of circumstance or choice have decided to perform their services some distance from the village. We Murarites are keeping close watch and care over the village while they are away…<\/p>\n
The overall feeling, especially after 3 or 4 hrs of kirtan, is the profound feelings of love toward all the devotees… There was also a sense of reunion and family after not having seen some devotees after some separation… There was, at least to me, a genuine feeling of community.. a village in the formative stages… A cooperative spirit, and sharing of good tidings, everyone happy to see the other… and engage in the Yuga Dharma. Running parallel with the 12 hr kirtan is a program that Nitaigaurasundau prabhu, Hanumat Prekash swami, and Nitai’s better half, Matsya dd have worked so hard on..the interfaith meetings held at their home for 3 or more yrs in a row. Amidst the discussions and good spirited words, there pervaded a flood of graciousness. Such a mood would certainly please His Divine Grace Srila Prabhupada. It was a very pleasing atmosphere and one that I hope will certainly deepen and sweeten even more into the future. The participation of all the devotees created a devotional and happy mood. I’m sure that the newcomers to the event went away feeling very satisfied. May Krsna bless us all and continue to strengthen the bonds of village ties that will bind us to Lord Krsna’s lotus feet. May our little village continue to work together nicely and cooperatively for the sake of Srila Prabhupada, Lord Sri Krsna, and the world.
