Dear Devotees,<\/p>\n

Please accept our humble obeisances. All glories to Srila Prabhupada.<\/p>\n

Over the past year, after much thought and discussion, Bhaktivedanta Manor Initiation Committee has made significant changes to the standards and procedures for initiation. We hope you will find the new Initiation Procedures & Standards Policy more informative and fairer. The standards have been revised and separated into two categories; essential and desirable, making them more realistically achievable.<\/p>\n

Devotees who feel they are ready for first or second initiation, and who wish to have the previous <\/b>initiation policy applied to them, MUST<\/b> email the information requested below to initiation@krishnatemple.com<\/a> by<\/b> midnight 31\/12\/13 (you must submit the details again, even if you have supplied this information in the past to your mentor\/member of management etc):<\/b><\/p>\n

1) your legal name and, if applicable, your spiritual name<\/p>\n

2) your contact telephone no.<\/p>\n

3) whether you are desiring first or second initiation<\/p>\n

4) name of your Sanga\/Bhakti Vriksha\/Nama Hatta leader<\/p>\n

5) name of your mentor<\/p>\n

We will discuss with your mentor or yourself your personal situation, and (if appropriate) we will apply the previous policy to you if that is your wish.<\/p>\n

The new Initiation Procedures & Standards Policy will apply to ALL<\/b> devotees from 01\/01\/14 <\/b>other than those who have supplied the above details to initiation@krishnatemple.com<\/a> before the deadline of 31\/12\/13 and have been accepted to be assessed on the previous policy.  In all cases, any letters of recommendation for initiation will be valid for a period of one year only<\/b>. If initiation is not taken within that period, the new policy will apply in full. Devotees are therefore strongly advised <\/b>that they as soon as possible:<\/p>\n
