Despite the foggy chilly weather in Vrindavan, 37 students from the age of 5 to 16 assembled for their first day of Sunday school at the Krishna Balaram Mandir, yesterday. The project under the auspices of the Community Services Centre was the first of its kind in the history of the temple.<\/p>\n

Director of Community Services, Kusha Devi Dasi said, \u201cIt is with great pleasure we announce the opening of our first Sunday school for the children of the ISKCON Vrindavan Community. We would like to thank the teachers, staff and Sangita dasi for the curriculum. Our goal is for our children to study our scriptures systematically and have fun at the same time. <\/p>\n

We are getting the children involved in Dham Seva, through our clean and green initiative. We will hold a contest to see which student\u2019s art will be selected to decorate temple dust bins, showing the type of trash to go in that bin.\u201d <\/p>\n
