{"id":12285,"date":"2014-01-23T10:09:49","date_gmt":"2014-01-23T10:09:49","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.dandavats.com\/?p=12285"},"modified":"2014-01-23T10:09:49","modified_gmt":"2014-01-23T10:09:49","slug":"say-it-with-flowers","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.dandavats.com\/?p=12285","title":{"rendered":"Say It With Flowers!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>By Sugopi Sakhi Devi Dasi<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>ISKCON Convention Centre, Bangalore celebrated Pushya Abhishek, the flower festival in a glorious way last weekend.<\/p>\n<p>The presiding deities, Their Lordships Jagannath Baladeva and Subhadra were bedecked with colourful floral costumes and crowns.<\/p>\n<p>A rain of rich and vibrant combination of roses, orchids, jasmine, asters, chrysanthemums, gladuoli &#8211; red, yellow, orange, purple, pink, white, lilac &#8211; multicoloured flowers in various hues and shades were used for performing Pushpa Abhishek to the deities of Sri Radha Krishna.<\/p>\n<p>The temple came alive with a riot of colours everywhere and the mood was electrifying. The abhishekam was accompanied with melodious kirtan.
