They had the highest percentage increase in the Large temple category, a 408% increase over their monthly average, with 1,637 book points. The last time I visited the Durban temple the devotees told me how dangerous this crime-ridden country is. I was shocked hearing the stories. All glories to these devotees, who regularly take risks to spread Krsna consciousness!<\/p>\n In the Medium category, two temples had large increases over their previous month. Gainsville had the highest percentage increase, a 142% increase, with 3,739 book points, and Denver had an increase of 95%, with 4,233 book points. The sankirtan leaders of both these temples were originally on the RVC traveling party and were trained by Paramesvara Prabhu, who again had a great month, with 4,624 book points. He did more than both those temples by himself!<\/p>\n In the Maha-Small category, Baltimore is the number-one temple, with a 639% increase and 2,162 book points. Generally we don’t hear much news about book distribution in Baltimore. But this is what happens when many temples get involved in increasing book distribution: other temples want to follow.
