The Latin word \u201climbus\u201d, interestingly enough, means \u201cborder,\u201d \u201cboundary,\u201d \u201cedge.\u201d It sounds a lot like the marginal position, does it not?<br \/>\nSo the souls in Limbo have no chance of ever attaining Heaven, although according to some theologians, they can because Jesus goes there too. It is not my intention to dwell too much on the matter. But what strikes me is that the Christian theology stresses our potential relationship with God in the future.
