July 11 \u2013 18, Simhachalam, Germany.<\/span><\/div>\n

   “Hare Krishna Hare Rama little
\nnice souls, welcome to the camp for little vaishnavas.”<\/span>
\nWith
\nthis traditional camp anthem began already the 13th year of the Hare
\nKrishna Children Camp at the German Simhachalam farm. This year
\nrecord-breaking 80 Czech, Slovak, German and Irish children and their
\nparents have attended.<\/span>
\n<\/span>
\n<\/a>

\n<\/a><\/div>\n
\n<\/div>\n
\n   Every day there was multifarious spiritual-entertaining program for
\nchildren, which contained creative activities, telling and reading
\nthe stories, theater, songs singing, swimming in the nearby natural
\naquapark, a trip “The Trees Crowns Path” in Bavarian
\nForest National Park<\/span>, the
\nRatha-yatra Festival, combat expedition\u2026 There was also a camp fire
\nwith guitar playing and paneer toasting :-) All this was <\/span>enhanced<\/span>
\nby the spiritual mood of the Temple schedule and blessed by the mercy
\nof “the Bavarian lion” \u2013 Lord Nrsimhadeva.<\/span><\/div>\n
\n<\/a><\/div>\n
\n<\/div>\n
\n   There was a nice event \u2013 meeting with a
\nnew selected Jandelsbrunn<\/span>‘s<\/span><\/span>
\nMayor who visited the farm for the first time and who appreciated our
\ncollaborative working with children in his speech. He also wishes
\nthat this kind of actions would continue in the future. He likes this
\npeaceful meeting and cooperation of people of different ages,
\nnationalities and religions.<\/span>
\n   During the camp, 16 years old Jayanti, daughter of bhaktin Eva,
\ncelebrated her birthday. During the year Jayanti lives in India,
\nMayapur, where she attends a gurukul for girls. Another girl
\ncelebrating her birthday was 10 years old Rukmini, daughter of
\nbhaktin \u0160\u00e1rka and Gaura Nataraj Prabhu. Both girls got a big
\nbirthday cake, gifts and a lots of favour and blessings from all
\nvaishnavas around.<\/span><\/div>\n
\n<\/a><\/div>\n
\n<\/div>\n
\n   In the morning lectures from Srimad-Bhagavatam, 10th canto, chapter
\n“The Meeting of Nanda Maharaja and Vasudeva“,
\nmany interesting themes were discussed related to the beauty and
\nwealth of Vedic culture, cow protection, education and
\nparenting\u2026Gadadhar Prabhu, <\/span>in
\nhis lecture, <\/span>was talking about the
\nnewest information from the International Scientific Conference he
\norganised last year. The information was related to study of
\nconsciousness and <\/span>Near death experiences (NDE).<\/span><\/div>\n
\n<\/a><\/div>\n
\n<\/div>\n
\n   At the end of the camp<\/span>,
\nDhira Nitai Prabhu, who is living at Simhachalam with his family and
\nwho is the Guest House keeper, expressed acknowledgement to all the
\nparents and children for big attendance by the name of the farm
\nleaders. This big involvement proves that parents are more and more
\naware of the importance and responsibility of leading and educating
\nchildren in Krishna consciousness. <\/span>The Hare Krishna Children
\nCamp is very unique in this way and is incomparable in all Europe.
\nAll devotees living at the Simhachalam farm agree with each other
\nthat this event is the sweetest of all festivals during the year. And
\nthat it takes place in the presence of the deity of Lord Nrsimhadeva
\nis definitely not a coincidence because Lord Nrsimhadeva is the
\nembodiment of the mood of paternity (<\/span>vatsalya-rasa<\/i><\/span>).<\/span><\/div>\n
\n<\/a><\/div>\n
\n<\/div>\n
\n   A big acknowledgement to all the devotees
\nwho assisted the organization of this event. Especially we would like
\nto thank Prahlad Nrsimha Prabhu who, despite his age, for so many
\nyears organises the camp, provides buying food, helps with cooking,
\nmakes breads etc. and oversees a smooth running of the camp. Next, we
\nwould like to thank the cooks: Narahari Devi Dasi, Yogeshvar Prabhu
\nand Vaibhavi Devi Dasi, for their devoted service in the kitchen and
\nensuring delicious prasadam during the camp. Great thanks goes to
\nLila-shakti dd., Prema-mayi Radha dd., Kalakanta dd., Lalita Gopi
\ndd., bhaktin Catherine, Nagendra Kanya dd., bhakta Sebastian and
\nothers for organisation of programs for children. Great thanks also
\ngoes to Govardhan Milkshop (bhakta Frantisek and Varshana dd.), which
\ndelivers milk and dairy products to the camp. Thank you very much! <\/span><\/div>\n
\n<\/a><\/div>\n
\n<\/div>\n
\n<\/a>   For the next year we are planning to add
\nmusical workshops for parents and children, add more thematical
\nlectures about home-schooling and educating children in Krishna
\nconsciousness.<\/span>

\nall the devotees and friends for their blessings to successfully
\ncontinue and develop this children camp in next years. Hare
