The day is celebrated widely by many other organisations concerned with food security, including the World Food Programme and the International Fund for Agricultural Development. <\/p>\n<p>At the most recent United Nations General Assembly, it was declared that 2014 would be the \u201cInternational Year of Family Farming\u201d (IYFF).
