Nothing for sure! Devotees and many new comers were slowly gathering at Sri Jagannatha Mandir towards 8pm on New Year&#8217;s eve to begin yet another year splendidly with the blessings of Lord Jagannatha, Subadra Maharani and Baladeva.<\/p>\n<p>Various programs were arranged to ensure the eve hits our hearts with perfect Krsna Consciousness right from the first moment of year 2015. Shortly after Gaura  Arathi and bhajans, HG Simheswara Prabhu addressed the crowd and this was followed by adorable performances by our own Gokul Garden children. It was a proud moment especially for parents and teachers who have been moulding these kids to perfection by giving them the right knowledge, Krsna Consciousness. It&#8217;s always a pleasure watching the cute performances of Gokul Garden children, be it the bhajans, the way they have mastered playing instruments, poem recitals, singing Krsna rhymes, performing pantomime of Krsna lilas or cultural dances. To appreciate their progress, prizes were given away by HG Prabha Vishnu Maharaj, with further words of encouragement by Temple President, HG Kripa Sindhu Prabhu.<\/p>\n<p>As prasadam for the evening, a potluck dinner was arranged so there was a wide array of food for the crowd of approximately 200 people. So what more after dinner? All headed back into the mandir and was in for the mesmerizing tunes led by HG Prabha Vishnu Maharaj. This continued through midnight, and the joy of new year was felt incredibly in the temple! With the hope to have a greater year ahead in His service, the crowd left feeling so very blessed.
