The golden new moon known as Gauracandra wanders on the streets of Nadia. This moon of Nadia is an ocean of mercy and a bestower of love and affection upon His devotees.<\/p>\n

\nnayane galata prema-taranga
\ncandra koti bhanu koti
\nsobha nichayari<\/p>\n
His moonlike face, His red lips, and the waves of love emanating from his moist eyes defeat the loveliness of millions of moons and suns.<\/p>\n
kusuma-sobhita cikura cancara
\nlalate tilaka nasika ujora
\ndasana motima amiya hasa
\ndamini ghanayari<\/p>\n
His curly hair is beautified by flowers. His forehead and nose are resplendent with tilaka. His pearl-like teeth and His nectarean smile are like lightning amid thick black clouds.<\/p>\n
makara-kundala jhalake ganda
\nmani-kaustubha-dipta kantha
\naruna vasana karuna vacana
\nsobha ati bhari<\/p>\n
His makara-shaped earrings sway gracefully on His ears, and His throat shines with the kaustubha gem. His yellow garments and His plaintive voice are exceedingly lovely.<\/p>\n
malya-candana carcita anga
\nlaje lajjita koti ananga
\nangada balaya ratana nupura
\nyajna-sutra-dhari<\/p>\n
His limbs, decorated with garlands and smeared with sandalwood paste, put to shame millions of Cupids. He wears bracelets, jewelled ankle-bells, and a brahmana\u2019s thread.<\/p>\n

\nbaliye balihari<\/p>\n
Ananta-sesa, the carrier of the earth, holds an umbrella, and the devotees sing His glories. His lotus feet are constantly served by the goddess of fortune, Kamala. Oh devotees! Sing His excellent glories!<\/p>\n
