On Friday, July 17, 2015, the bhumi puja – worship of the earth upon which construction is to be undertaken – will be held at the ISKCON Puri Project land at Jagannath Puri, in Orissa (Odhisha) State.<\/p>\n
This is the date of the Gundicha marjan ceremony.<\/p>\n
The ceremonial worship (bhumi puja) will begin in the early morning and continue till about noon.<\/p>\n
All are invited to attend.<\/p>\n
The ISKCON Puri land is situated on sixteen (16) acres of land on the Northeastern side of Puri, just off of the Beach Road.<\/p>\n
Also, ISKCON Puri is going to open a new “Govinda’s restaurant and (a temporary) ISKCON project Guest House at Banki Muhan, C.T. Road, Puri on Tuesday, July 14, 2015.<\/p>\n
Devotees wanting to stay at the new guest house may contact me via e-mail. We still have a a limited number of rooms available for the Rathayatra festival.<\/p>\n
