This will be the first ISKCON temple in the Northeast that will be built in a traditional, Vedic architectural style and will feature beautiful elements such as shikhars (domes) and jharokhas (decorative windows) among others.
This is a once in a lifetime event welcoming Lord Krishna\u2019s temple to the community and will feature traditional prayers and vidhis<\/em> (rituals) by qualified brahmana priests. There will also be an array of colorful cultural programs such as kirtans<\/em> and bhajans<\/em> (musical presentations) as well as plenty of free prasadam<\/em> (vegetarian feast prepared with love and devotion to Lord Krishna).<\/p>\nISKCON is also celebrating its golden jubilee, 50 years since its inception in 1966 by Founder-Acharya, His Divine Grace A.C.
