He recently played in Victoria, Canada (October 8, 2015), spreading his now familiar message of “peace and love” along with “Hare Krishna.” During his second song, “It Don’t Come Easy,” co-written with George Harrison and a big hit for Ringo in 1971, local concert goers confirm that Ringo enthusiastically shouted, “Hare Krishna” to his adoring audience. Commenting further, Ringo stated: “I don’t need a lot of food, and eat a lot of broccoli, berries, fruit. I’ll eat anything that comes out of the ground, but won’t touch it if it lives on the ground.”

Flashing the peace sign, preaching vegetarianism and spreading Hare Krishna wherever he goes makes Ringo a shining light in the firmament of modern day pop and rock stars.

“Try to make this Hare Krishna Movement popular through any source that is possible.
