Devotees offered lights to Their Lordship after Gaura Aarti. Lamp offering will continue for the whole month of Kartika. It is  said that since this month is very dear to Krishna by performing austerities, or restraining one\u2019s sense gratification and performing activities to please the senses of the Lord, one becomes very dear to the Krishna.
