The Award Ceremony was conducted during the Inaugural Session of IX World Aqua Congress, Conference on Water &#038; Environment on the 26th &#038; 27th November 2015 at India Habitat Centre, New Delhi. GEV received this award from Sushri Uma Bharti &#8211; Minister for Water Resources, River Development and Ganga Rejuvenation.<\/p>\n<p>Every year the Aqua Foundation groups organizes the World Aqua Congress on a specific theme related to environment and invites abstract of papers from speakers all around the country. The IX world Aqua Congress was centered on the theme of reviving traditional water and environment conservation techniques. GEV\u2019s abstract on the paper \u201cIntegrated Water Conservation and Protection Schemes for Rural Location\u201d was accepted for the Conference. Following the award ceremony GEV was invited to present that paper to the various delegates present there. The conference was attended by various corporate heads, Government authorities, university professors, NGOs etc. <\/p>\n<p>The\u00a0\u201cAqua Excellence Awards\u201d\u00a0are the highest awards given by Aqua Foundation to its members, stakeholders and contributors in recognition of their outstanding achievements in the field of water, environment, energy, earth sciences, atmospheric sciences, planetary sciences, pollution control and sustainability solutions.
