By Bhaktisiddhanta Maharaja<\/strong><\/p>\n The final day of the parikrama was a full circumambulation of Sri Ksetra Dhama which fame to 21 kilometers. A rainy start was the kick off with HH Lokanatha Swami saying “Should we go back? It seems that this material world is filled with miseries so what ever austerities we perform today can help us be alleviated from those material miseries” From Srila Haridasa’s Thakur’s samadhi we started and the walk was a blissful event on the quiet parikrama paths weaving around and about Puri Dhama. A play of Haridasas departure lila was break in the middle after the first morning prasadam and a continuum of constant chanting of by our melodious kirtaneers energizing the entire group back to the beach for more prasadam and then the final leg bach to the mandir.<\/p>\n One can not help appreciate the special mercy of Lord Jaganatha as the largest crowd(that we know of) has circumambulated Him on this most glorious day. The managers expected at most 1000 and 2,300 came. One can not help feel that the Lord, down through the parampara and Srila Prabhupada, has revealed a new chapter and offering for for his dependents, a real unifier for ISKCON, that will purify and protect us in our future projects and ventures ahead. Mostly likely we will get not less that 3,000 pilgrims next year for this needed insurance policy of service. We would like to thank HH Bhaktipurusottama Swami for his inspiration and management of this whole project which has certainly made Lord Jaganatha smile.<\/p>\n The managers expected at most 1000 and 2,300 came.
