Choice is given to us, we refrain or entertain<\/p>\n

Pursuit of happiness in the wrong terrain,<\/p>\n

Make results uncertain, for a person lamebrain.<\/p>\n

On the boat of desires with mind as captain<\/p>\n

We go with the flow, caught in illusion\u2019s enchain.<\/p>\n

Ups and downs on the way, send us the warning<\/p>\n

Of dangers underlain<\/p>\n

We feel the stress and strains<\/p>\n

Of material nature uncertain.<\/p>\n

Then one day finally comes the storm,<\/p>\n

Our feelings of attachment twisted and torn<\/p>\n

Create a pain, difficult to explain<\/p>\n

Makes us realise, all our feelings were in vain<\/p>\n

Lost and shattered we look for a guardian<\/p>\n

Who then reminds us of Krishna’s divine game<\/p>\n

We are not here for any material gain,<\/p>\n

Serving the Lord, is our duty main<\/p>\n

Served the senses time and again<\/p>\n

Mind\u2019s duty is to mistrain<\/p>\n

His mercy is pouring like incessant rain,<\/p>\n

But are we holding the umbrella<\/p>\n

of selfish desires in brain.<\/p>\n

Until we are totally purified, experiences are there to train,<\/p>\n

Before the next storm comes, hope the lessons learnt retain<\/p>\n

In the end, only Krishna will remain<\/p>\n

Don\u2019t forget to thank Him, be it pleasure or pain.”<\/p>\n
