\nHave a blissful life,
\nFree from lust and fear. |1|<\/p>\n
\nWhich, cannot be seen,
\nAre lust and anger,
\nThose force us to commit sin. |2|<\/p>\n
\nHow can we be peaceful?
\nO my dear, I have to tell you,
\nAwake, arise and be careful. |3|<\/p>\n
\nWe have to be serious,
\nTo make the best use of it,
\nAnd prevent the greatest loss. |4|<\/p>\n
\nIs failure to cross,
\nThe cycle of birth, old age,
\nDisease and death. |5|<\/p>\n
\nWe are spiritual,
\nIf we endeavor,
\nCan become immortal. |6|<\/p>\n
\nThis will be our last death,
\nIf we follow the Bhagavad-Gita,
\nWith love, devotion and faith. |7|<\/p>\n
\nOf the eternal event,
\nAs we are eternal servants of Krishna,
\nAnd His fragmental element. |8|<\/p>\n
\nIf we become successful,
\nIn remembering the Lord at the end,
\nWith consciousness full. |9|<\/p>\n
\nA sword is hanging over our head,
\nIt may fall at any moment,
\nAnd we will be dead. |10|<\/p>\n
\nFor an intelligent person,
\nWho chants the holy names of Krishna,
\nAnd follows His instruction. |11|<\/p>\n
\nTo think we can remember,
\nThe Lord, without practice,
\nDuring our early year. |12|<\/p>\n
\nIf we are really wanting,
\nTo overcome the miseries of life,
\nAs we cannot comeback again in time. |13|<\/p>\n
\nWith any reservation or quota,
\nWill not be useful,
\nAnd cannot help even an iota. |14|<\/p>\n
\nAnd take a resolution,
\nIn this New Year,
\nTo chant the Holy Name,
\nWhich will give us real fame,
\nAnd provide solution,
\nTo all our problem. |15|
