(Counseling, Assistance, Resource, and Education for the Terminally ill and Their Families) is a non-profit organization dedicated to serving the devotees of Srila Prabhupada and Lord Krsna when they require end-of-life assistance. Vaisnavas C.A.R.E. has an ever-expanding network of volunteers around the world who assist the dying devotees whenever and wherever possible. <\/p>\n<p>Our Board of Directors are: Jusaniya devi dasi (ACBSP), Kaulini devi dasi (ACBSP), Jagarini devi dasi (ACBSP), Nirakula devi dasi (ACBSP), and Sangita devi dasi (ACBSP). <\/p>\n<p>Vaisnavas C.A.R.E. services include: <\/p>\n<p> Vaisnavas C.A.R.E. volunteers visit terminally ill and chronically-ill devotees in their homes\/temples\/hospitals etc. and read to patients, chant with them, sing bhajans for them, and bring them prasadam. <\/p>\n<p> Our volunteers provide compassionate \u201cspiritual care\u201d for the dying devotees. <\/p>\n<p> Recently, our services have also extended to devotees with temporary, catastrophic illnesses.  <\/p>\n<p> Our volunteers give emotional and spiritual support to the families of the dying devotees. They lend a helping hand to give the family caregivers a much-needed break so they can rest.<\/p>\n<p> Vaisnavas C.A.R.E. mails \u201cCARE packages\u201d to dying devotees and families requesting Tulasi japa beads and beadbags, Tulasi leaves, holy Ganges water, maha-prasadam, tilaka, and transcendental photos, CD\u2019s, and books. <\/p>\n<p> We assist families searching for local hospice services in their community. <\/p>\n<p> Our website at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.vaisnavascare.com\">www.vaisnavascare.com <\/a>offers a Prayer Request Page for \u201cPrayer Partners\u201d around the world to post their prayers and support for devotees and loved ones facing difficult circumstances and end-of-life concerns. With the help of our dedicated and sincere Prayer Partner volunteers, Vaisnavas C.A.R.E. has been able to form a worldwide community of devotees to support one another through difficult times. <\/p>\n<p> Vaisnavas C.A.R.E. website offers a free, basic, online hospice course. Many devotees around the world have already completed our V-CARE course and have received their Certificates of Completion. <\/p>\n<p> V-CARE gives educational seminars. We offer the only hospice guide for terminally ill devotees and caregivers entitled, The Final Journey\u2014Complete Hospice Care for Departing Vaisnavas (Torchlight Publishing). Our website offers a variety of information on hospice and palliative care, including user-friendly information on complementary therapies to assist with patient comfort. <\/p>\n<p> Our Vaisnavas C.A.R.E. website offers a Support Discussion Page for those who have questions or would like to share their ideas with our other readers.<\/p>\n<p> We have a monthly Health and Well-Being Newsletter to provide our readers with updated health information, health tips and recipes. <\/p>\n<p> Vaisnavas C.A.R.E. has a Transcendental Nectar Page and a Lecture Page with transcripts of inspirational classes and other writings. <\/p>\n<p> Vaisnavas C.A.R.E. website offers a page for devotees to write and share their past experiences with a dying friend or other loved one. <\/p>\n<p>How to Get Involved: <\/p>\n<p>There are many ways in which you too can join our Vaisnavas C.A.R.E. team!
