My name is Vamsi Dhari Dasa from ISKCON temple Thiruppalai, Madurai, Tamil Nadu.Recently we have finished constructing our beautiful Sri Krishna Balarama temple. This temple is managed by congregation devotees and temple president is also a grhastha and a big business man. He is very much supportive for preaching and very much particular about good standards in puja and prasadam. Fortunately we have devotees for preaching but for puja and cooking we are looking for dedicated and expert devotees for service.<\/p>\n
Our’s is a beautiful marble temple for very charming Krishna Balarama, Lakshmi Narasimhadeva, Gaura Nitai and Srila Prabhupada, sweet innocent devotees, peaceful place to stay, supportive environment for studying sastras, beautiful go shala with 350 desi cows(local breeds), so pure milk, we have huge farm, so we get pure organic rice, dhal, vegetables, fruits etc.,<\/p>\n
Madurai is the second oldest city in India, this city is there since Vedic times. very cultured people, tasty south Indian prasadam, respectful people, favorable schools and colleges for preaching, people will be very much impressed with western devotees and they respect them very much.<\/p>\n
So we are humbly requesting for dedicated western (Russian) devotees who wants to serve and learn Indian culture and help in preaching are all welcomed. This is the plan which Srila Prabhupada has given us, that western devotees come to India to learn the culture and do their devotion without much mental agitation and help in preaching as a “Dancing White Elephants”.<\/p>\n
Now you think, if you are a brahmacari we can support you in all the ways. if you are a grhastha we will support you and give you some maintenance also. You have an opportunity to open a Govinda’s restaurant here. This may support our preaching and your maintenance.<\/p>\n
We are looking for 3 Good pujaris who can decorate nicely, stitch clothes for deities and design deities beautifully.
\n3 cooks who may have to learn and cook south Indian dishes also, who knows cakes, cookies, sweets etc.,<\/p>\n
Together as a husband and wife if you want to take up the service of cooking or puja it is also fine. Initiation is mandatory.
\nIf you are a brahmacari and want to stay somewhere without much maya, study, do some service and help in preaching then it is the good place for you. We have lots of scope for book distribution, weekly harinams, for matajis preaching in the school for kids and in some women’s college.<\/p>\n

\n3.deity dress, decoration, flower garland making,
\n4.cooking nice cakes, sweets etc.,
\n5.interested in preaching in colleges,

\nand much more….<\/p>\n
note: even though currently we have local devotees doing all this services, still we thought if we have western devotees in our temple then it may help us in preaching and we may give shelter to western devotees who likes to stay in this kind of environment and serve peacefully.<\/p>\n
since we have 4 Russian brahmacaris who are studying Sanskrit in our temple here we are inviting more Russian devotees so that you may have your own community and lectures.<\/p>\n
