\u2018Looking For My Life\u2019 ‘Looking For My Life’
\n\u201cLooking for My Life\u201d recounts Prapujaka\u2019s adventures as he visited Vrindavan, staying in the austere Fogal ashram as there was no ISKCON temple at the time. Attending Prabhupada\u2019s lectures in a pandal, he saw the ISKCON Founder-Acharya only from a distance, and struggled to understand his strong Bengali accent. But when Giriraja Swami took Prapujaka on as his assistant and brought him up to see Srila Prabhupada, the young man knew he had found his guru.
\nPrapujaka might be an ordinary guy, but he does come with some pedigree. A Srila Prabhupada disciple, he is related to celebrated Swedish author Selma Lagerl\u00f6f, who won the Nobel Prize for literature. And his previous book \u201cA Spiritual Journey,\u201d about his time with the Radha-Damodar Traveling Sankirtan Party from 1974 to \u201877, was dubbed \u201cfirst class storytelling,\u201d by author Ranchor Prime.
