One may ask, \u201cHow is it that in the modern age these Europeans and Americans of the Krsna consciousness movement do not take interest in newspapers?\u201d Newspapers are very popular in the West. Each day the papers are published in three or four editions, and they are all selling. However, these American boys and girls who have come to Krsna consciousness have stopped reading newspapers. They do not know what is happening from day to day, and it does not matter. All of this is a waste of time. It is better that they read literatures like Srimad-Bhagavatam and Bhagavad-gita.
