Available for immediate occupancy by a male disciple or follower of Srila Prabhupada is a 9′ x 15′ unfurnished room with a 48″ x 30″ closet. The rent is only $200 per month. ALL utilities, garbage pickup, grass mowing and snow plowing are included in the rent. The room is in a small cabin which is heated by natural gas.<\/p>\n
The cabin is located on US 41 next to the Portage Lake Golf Course in a mostly rural area 3 miles south of Houghton in Michigan’s beautiful Upper Peninsula. It is across the street from crystal clear Portage Canal where you can go swimming. It is also across the street from a bicycle trail which goes alongside the canal to Michigan Technological University (3 miles away – http:\/\/www.mtu.edu\/) where there is almost unlimited (7:45 am – midnight Sunday – Thursday during the regular school year) free Internet access at the library 7 days a week. High-speed cable or satellite Internet access is also available in the cabin for an extra charge.<\/p>\n
Must do own cooking, and must share bathroom and kitchen (new, full sized refrigerator and natural gas stove) with one other person (me).<\/p>\n
Can drive right up to the front door, and there are no steps, so moving in is very easy.<\/p>\n
