\nSamapriya devi dasi: Betrothed by Srila Prabhupada the holy name to wed,
\nvowing not to put another in His sacred bed.
\nYou rest upon my tongue, taking me a journey far,
\nthroughout the worlds and inner space revealing who You are.<\/p>\n

You are my husband and I pledge to stay with You forever,
\nI pray to keep You in my heart, no earthly thing will sever.
\nAs Your wife I make an oath to serve You as I can,
\nplacing You upon my lips surrendered to Your plan.<\/p>\n

You are first in everything of duties I perform,
\nOf You my voice will ever sing, though struggle to conform,
\nto that which You would have me do,
\nand prove that I belong to You.
\nSo many times You make me cry,
\nand only patience shows me why. <\/p>\n

The holy name of the Lord is my life and soul
\nHe leads me through this darkness to cleanse my heart of coal.
\nI will never stray from Him, we\u2019re bound eternally,
\nand walk together as though one, but ever separately.<\/p>\n

Oh Hari nama, when I call You appear in sound,
\nit is I who turns away, You\u2019re always to be found.
\nWith chastity and loyalty let my dependence thrive,
\nresounding in my humbled heart Your love remains alive.<\/p>\n

If somehow you leave this place I will come along.
\nI cannot live without Your grace nor Your hallowed song.
