\nradha-mukunda-pada-sambhava-gharma-bindu
\nnirmanchanopakarani-krta-deha-laksam
\nuttunga-sauhrda-visesa-vasat pragalbham
\ndevim gunaih sulalitam lalitam namami<\/p>\n
1. I offer my obeisances to Lalita devi, who has many wonderful qualities.
\nShe worships the perspiration of Sri Sri Radha-Mukunda’s lotus feet and acts
\nboldly, out of intense feelings of friendship for Them.<\/p>\n
verse 2
\nraka-sudha-kirana-mandala-kanti-dandi
\nvaktra-sriyam cakita-caru-camuru-netram
\nradha-prasadhana-vidhana-kala-prasiddham
\ndevim gunaih sulalitam lalitam namami<\/p>\n
2. I offer my obeisances to Lalita devi, who has many wonderful qualities.
\nHer face defeats the beauty of the ambrosial corona of the full moon, her
\neyes are like those of an alarmed deer and she is expert in the art of
\ndecorating Sri Radhika.<\/p>\n

\nlasyollasad-bhujaga-satru-patatra-citra
\npattamsukabharana-kanculikancitangim
\ngorocana-ruci-vigarhana-gaurimanam
\ndevim gunaih sulalitam lalitam namami<\/p>\n
3. I offer my obeisances to Lalita devi, who has many wonderful qualities.
\nShe wears a wonderful silk dress colored like a peacock with outstretched
\nfeathers, as well as a nice blouse, and her complexion defeats the golden
\nsplendour of gorocana.<\/p>\n

\ndhurte vrajendra-tanaye tanu susthu-vamyam
\nma daksina bhava kalankini laghavaya
\nradhe giram srnu hitam iti siksayantim
\ndevim gunaih sulalitam lalitam namami<\/p>\n
4. I offer my obeisances to Lalita devi, who has many wonderful qualities.
\nShe teaches Sri Radhika the art of a left-wing heroine saying: “Radhe!
\nFirmly reject this shrewd son of the king of Vraja, O immoral girl! Listen!
\nDon’t be weak! I’m saying it for Your own good. Don’t submit to Him!”<\/p>\n

\nradham abhi vraja-pateh krtam atmajena
\nkutam manag api vilokya vilohitaksim
\nvag-bhangibhis tam acirena vilajjayantim
\ndevim gunaih sulalitam namami<\/p>\n
5. I offer my obeisances to Lalita devi, who has many wonderful qualities.
\nHer eyes become red with anger if she sees the son of the king of Vraja
\ncheating Sri Radhika even slightly, then she will promptly embarrass Him
\nwith her clever words.<\/p>\n

\nvatsalya-vrnda-vasatim pasupala-rajnyah
\nsakhyanusiksana-kalasu gurum sakhinam
\nradha-balavaraja-jivita-nirvisesam
\ndevim gunaih sulalitam lalitam namami<\/p>\n
6. I offer my obeisances to Lalita devi, who has many wonderful qualities.
\nShe is the abode of affection for the Queen of cowherders, Yasoda, she is
\nthe teacher of the art of friendship for all the sakhis and her love for Sri
\nRadhika and Krsna is equal.<\/p>\n

\nyam kam api vraja-kule vrsabhanu-jayah
\npreksya sva-paksa-padavim anurudhyamanam
\nsadyas tad-ista-ghatanena krtarthayantim
\ndevim gunaih sulalitam lalitam namami<\/p>\n
7. I offer my obeisances to Lalita devi, who has many wonderful qualities.
\nShe requests every girl in Vraja to join the party of Vrsabhanu’s daughter
\nand who fulfills all desires of that girl (or of Sri Radhika).<\/p>\n

\nAll her desires were at once fulfilled when she saw the path of Sri Radha in
\nVraja being blocked by a certain person.<\/p>\n

\nradha-vrajendra-suta-sangama-ranga-caryam
\nvaryam viniscitavatim akhilotsavebhyah
\ntam gokula-priya-sakhi-nikuramba-mukhyam
\ndevim gunaih sulalitam lalitam namami<\/p>\n
8. I offer my obeisances to Lalita devi, who has many wonderful qualities.
\nShe always enjoys the festival of Radha and Vrajendrasuta’s meeting and she
\nis the chief of all Radha’s dear girlfriends in Gokula.<\/p>\n

\nnandann amuni lalita-guna-lalitani
\npadyani yah pathati nirmala-drstir astau
\npritya vikarsati janam nija-vrnda-madhye
\ntam kirtida-pati-kulojjvala-kalpa-valli<\/p>\n
9. Anyone who recites these prayers praising Lalita’s wonderful qualities
\nwith a pure vision will be lovingly counted amongst her own (friends or
\nmaidservants) by Sri Radhika, the brilliant desire vine of the family of the
