Tasks\/Duties<\/p>\n
– Regularly attend and lead sanga programs to maintain present members and develop new ones
\n– Regularly peform pujas according to the needs of the congregation
\n– Work with the congregation to develop their involvement in our main festivals of Gaura Purnima, Rama Navami, Janmasthami, Dusshera and Diwali<\/p>\n
Essential experience:<\/p>\n
– minimum 1 year experience in the same\/similar role
\n– Providing pastoral care to a Gaudiya Vaisnava congregation
\n– Performing samskaras and vedic havans in line with Gaudiya Vaisnava tradition
\n– Line managing, coaching and training 2 junior staff members
\n– Regularly give bhagavat (vedic scripture) lectures in hindi and Nepali language
\n– Formulate strategic and long term development plans in regards to the spreading Krishna Consciousness
\n– Develop the relationship between the congregation and residents through service<\/p>\n
Qualifications:<\/p>\n
– Experience in pastoral care that meets the needs of a Gaudiya Vaisnava South Asian community
\n-Committed member of ISKCON
\n-Chanting daily 16 rounds of the Hare Krishna maha mantra
\n-Committed to practising the four regulative principles
\n-Mature understanding of HDG AC Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada\u2019s teachings
