In a City which holds a close historical connection with The Beatles and in particular George Harrison.<\/p>\n<p>Sriman George Harrison is fondly remembered by the Hare Krishna movement for his selfless devotion to Srila Prabhupada during the establishment of his mission here in the United Kingdom.<\/p>\n<p>In 1970 George donated ISKCON funds to pay for the printing of a book, Krishna the Supreme Personality of Godhead, which contains the pastimes of Lord Krishna, with commentary by Srila Prabhupada.<\/p>\n<p>Srila Prabhupada in one of his letters to Tamal Krishna Goswami listed Liverpool as one of the important cities in the UK and we are very happy that Liverpool will finally welcome Lord Jagannath, Lady Subhadra and Lord Baladev.<\/p>\n<p>Please don\u2019t miss the spectacular grand procession of the Jagannatha Chariot leaving Williamson Square at 1pm and after the procession returning to the very same place around 2.30pm where the festivities will continue until 5pm.<\/p>\n<p>Date: Saturday, 26th August 2017<\/p>\n<p>Time: 12-5pm<\/p>\n<p>Location: Williamson Square  Square, Liverpool City Centre.<\/p>\n<p>Webste: www.iskconliverpool.com<\/p>\n<p>Facebook: https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/events\/849966271825576\/<\/p>\n<p>Email: info@iskconliverpool.com<\/p>\n<p>Please consider this as your personal invitation to come and join us at this wonderful festival.
