This is a letter to Sastra Dana from Advaita Prabhu and Sita Mataji, husband and wife, dynamic preachers.<\/b><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

Hare Krishna!
\n Please accept our humble obeisances.
\n All glories to Srila Prabhupada!<\/i><\/p>\n

My self and my wife Sita Thakurani devi dasi placed our fifth book rack (!) at the acupuncture office of Dr. Jeff Lynn in Chino, California. We placed 160 books in this rack. This is the second book rack that we have placed that has a donation box.<\/i><\/p>\n

The owner of this Medical Center, Dr. Jeff Lynn, was very enthusiastic about these books and the rack. For the last several months we have been leaving books in his office, a few at a time. He told us that his customers were asking if they could take the books home. Therefore Dr. Lynn is excited to have the book rack.<\/i><\/p>\n

He wanted us to place the book rack next to his display of natural\/herbal medicines. He said our books titled \u201cHigher Taste\u201d and \u201cSpiritual Yoga\u201d complement his natural medicines.<\/i><\/p>\n

We are really very much thankful to you for the help and encouragement in spreading Krishna consciousness. Thank you for the opportunity to serve.<\/i><\/p>\n

ear devotees, there are literally millions of places similar to Dr. Lynn’s, institutions and business, that would let us place our book racks in their facilities. Now we just need resources and man power. <\/p>\n

Srila Prabhupada used to say that Krishna is not a poor man therefore the devotee is also not poor. So in reality all we need is enthusiastic devotees, eager to share Krishna with others. Then resources will come. Krishna is won over by such enthusiastic devotion and is ready to assist the devotee in his missionary endeavor.<\/p>\n

We invite you to come out of the closet and join hands with the preachers of Krishna consciousness. You will happily pass your time, please Srila Prabhupada, benefit the whole world, and at the end return back to Krishna. What a deal!<\/p>\n

\n anaging a rack involves regularly visiting the store where the rack is placed and restocking the books. Racks and books are paid for by Sastra Dana or by the book-rack manager.<\/p>\n

There are two kinds of book-racks: those that offer free books; and those that offer books for a donation. Racks that ask for a donation have a donation box fixed onto the rack. Racks differ in size and shape. One thing they all have in common: they hold only small paper-back books.<\/p>\n

Dear reader, here is a service opportunity for you, become a book-rack manager! Let us know if you are interested and we\u2019ll arrange to place a rack in a store close to where you live or work. <\/p>\n

You need to be ready to once or twice a month, or as often as needed, go to the store(s) and restock the books. Racks that have a donation box would need to have donations taken out of the box on a regular basis, the more often the better. What an easy way to distribute Srila Prabhupada\u2019s books!<\/p>\n
