Master, when will I see God?
\nMaster: When you are as desperate with longing as a man who craves for water after he has been lying for ten days and nights in the desert near the pyramids.
\nPine for Him in the same way, feeling that you can\u2019t live for even one more second without Him.
\nThen only, when your intense eagerness for Him will drive away your lust for the senses, will He come to you.[1]\nStudent: I ask myself \u2013 do I have enough determination to pursue this path?
\nMaster: Faith, loyalty, and surrender are prerequisites. Have faith that He is present like the air. Remain loyal to the Lord \u2013 in good and bad times \u2013 like the breath who is always with you \u2013 called for or not.
\nFinally, surrender to Him as naturally as a man suffering from insomnia forgets his world and surrenders to sudden sleep \u2013 unquestioning.
\nStudent: I am an active person. Is there anything I can do?
\nMaster: Render selfless service to Him like the sun which serves all creation, unconcerned with its attitude.
\nBut if you give your love to Him, you will not only see God but please Him as well. Then a universe of unspeakable delights[2] will open to you.
