Hare Krishna Prabhus, All glories to Srila Prabhupad, Please accept my humble obeisances. We would first of all like to thank the GBC for their kind words regarding the untimely passing of our daughter Anandalila. What to do? Krishna is the supreme controller. Without His sanction not even a blade of grass can move. We understand that this was His will and thank Him for giving us such a nice soul to care for for the last 17 years.<\/p>\n

We would like to inform you all that we feel that Krishna wants to use this incident to preach, this is made apparent by the huge interest shown in the Australian public forum. The articles there were huge for one week and they said that ‘the tragic death of Hare Krishna girl in India had sparked huge and renewed interest in the Hare Krishna culture and religious beliefs anomgst the Australian public.’ Today WHO magazine came to interview us also. They wanted to know a lot about our Krishna Concious life and photographed Krishna Balaram mandir as well as our home alter etc. They will be doing a big article. Our only regret was that all the devotees were not standing with our family in all the photos and preaching. In India there is Star News channel doing a dedication to Lila called, Lila the Krishna Bhakt. India has been pushing to do much bigger things, but we have been holding back to date due to wanting to deal very diplomaticly with the Indian public. We don’t want to insult them in any way, but just work to help make their Dharms more glorious and safer.<\/p>\n

It is quiet huge preaching. We will definately be pushing hard in India to bring about some changes through the Government of India via whatever medium Krishna provides to try to clean up the Holy Dharma. We seem to have a lot of support from inside the country and abroad. We will do this regardless of Iskcons involvement or not. We are faithful Iskcon people never looked sideways no matter what treatment has been dealt to us, we see it as Krishnas mercy and our just deserts. We meditated for 17days on Srila Prabhupad and Krishna (Subhangi without eating) after our daughters departure and feel strongly that Krishna wants this.<\/p>\n

We are writing this because we just want to say to you all that in our opinion this is a huge opportunity for preaching for our Iskcon society especially in India. Iskcon is very well respected here and revered as a powerful and religious institution. If Iskcon were to state publicly that Vrindavan is the crown jewel of India, there should be strict weapon control and protection of pilgrims both foriegn and Indian. This could all be heavily laced and carefully worded with slokas etc to educate the public and we are sure this will bring a lot of people to our temples,(which is the goal of our preaching) and it could definately make a difference to the situation here in Vrindavan. After all history worldwide shows that changes in society come about by such methods and this is after all not mundane but a transendental cause. We are sure Srila Prabhupad will be pleased and Krishna as well.<\/p>\n

Just like in England right now there is a big fuss in the media regarding Gangotri the cow. Anandalila was our cow. How is she less important or the injustice of what happened to her less important? Please don’t make this a issue of the youth. Those poor kids always cop it even though they are a product of our own making, we are to blame. It is not so. Lila was well behaved and well protected at all times. She never took drugs or any such activities and this is a well known fact amongst those who knew her. She was devoted to Vrindavan and Krishna from the start of her life. <\/p>\n

Vrindavan is a place of Radharani’s mercy, just as Mayapur is a place of Lord Chaitanyas mercy, and Puri the place of Lord Jaganatha’s mercy. All make special concessions for us all on Kali Yuga regardless of our gender or ashram. That mercy flows for all not just for old ladies in white, bramacharis and sanyasis. <\/p>\n

One of our sanyasis was shot here in our temple. Does that mean sanyasis should not be in Vrindavan? Maybe they deserve such a thing due to their offences here? NO! This was another symptom of the lack of protection the devotees of the Lord get here due to corruption and demons, nothing more. To try to improve things here would be a great service to the Dharm (Which is nondifferent from Krishna) and the Vaishnavas who travel here. <\/p>\n

So please we are asking Iskcon, the devotee and the GBC to support us in this issue,<\/p>\n
