42GB of a complete library of kirtans ready for free downloading.
\nNimai Sundar: I am finally able to share all my recordings of Aindra Prabhu\u2019s Live Kirtans. They are mostly arranged by YYYY.MM.DD, have Album Artwork and metadata that matches.
\nI have been collecting Aindra\u2019s Kirtans for many years now and it\u2019s been a pain having duplicates, different naming formats and different album names.
\nSo I downloaded all the recordings from 24hourkirtan.com, VIHE.org and Gauravani.com. Then added them to the recordings sourced from Aindra Himself. I then sorted them according to the year as much as possible.
\nThen removed duplicate tracks using software that listens to the tracks and marks them as a match. I then manually confirmed that they were duplicates before deleting the track with lesser quality. This also helped to identify the origin of some personal recordings to their actual date. I also matched festival recordings with Gcal to get the actual date of the recording.
\nThere are still some that don\u2019t have names and dates and therefore kept them in the undated folder. I also haven\u2019t added the album recordings as they are available from Spotify in amazing quality.
\nThe entire folder is 42 Gigs.
