Lord Krishna and Lord Caitanya Mahaprabhu come to just \u201cone\u201d Maha-yuga out of every 1000! <\/p>\n

A very rare event because this means they both come just \u2018\u2019once\u2019\u2019 in a 24 hour day of Lord Brahma<\/p>\n

Also all Maha-yugas happen during the day-time hours (between Sunrise to Sunset) of Lord Brahma\u2019s day. So this means Lord Brahma\u2019s day from Sunrise to Sunset equals 1000 Maha yugas, also known as a Catur-yuga and Divya-yuga which are -.<\/p>\n

Satya Yuga is 1,728,000 human years,<\/p>\n

Treta Yuga is 1,296,000 human years long,<\/p>\n

Dwapara Yuga 864,000 human years<\/p>\n

Kali Yuga 432,000 human years.<\/p>\n

And \u201cnight-time of Sunset to Sunrise\u201d is when a partial annihilation takes place while Lord Brahma sleeps. There are also no Maha yugas during this night-time period.<\/p>\n

So a \u201cday and night 24 hour period\u201d of Lord time equals 8 billion 640 million human years.<\/p>\n

Lord Caitanya and Lord Krishna\u2019s appearance is very rare as they both come just \u201conce\u201d over that enormous period of time.<\/p>\n

Lord Krishna in His original Vrindavan Form, comes at the end of just \u201cone\u201d Dvapara-yuga out of every 1000.<\/p>\n

Lord Caitanya Mahaprabhu come just after the beginning of just \u201cone\u201d Kali-yuga out of every 1000.<\/p>\n

Srila Prabhupada \u2013 \u2018\u2019 Lord K\u1e5b\u1e63\u1e47a and Lord Caitanya appear once in each day of Brahm\u0101\u2019\u2019 CC Adi 3.10 Text 10 Purport.<\/p>\n

A day-time (from Sunrise to Sunset) of Lord Brahma day is 4 billion 320 million human years long.<\/p>\n

As explained and important to understand, there are no Maha-yugas in the night-time hours between Sunset and Sunrise of Lord Brahma.<\/p>\n

Lord Brahma\u2019s night between Sunset and Sunrise is also 4 billion 320 million human years long.<\/p>\n

So a \u201cday and night\u201d of Lord Brahma is collectively is 8 billion 640 billion human years long.<\/p>\n

Translation<\/p>\n

At the end of the Dv\u0101para-yuga of the twenty-eighth divya-yuga, Lord K\u1e5b\u1e63\u1e47a appears on earth with the full paraphernalia of His eternal Vraja-dh\u0101ma.<\/p>\n

Purport<\/p>\n

Now is the term of Vaivasvata Manu, during which Lord Caitanya appears. First Lord K\u1e5b\u1e63\u1e47a appears at the close of the Dv\u0101para-yuga of the twenty-eighth divya-yuga, and then Lord Caitanya appears in the Kali-yuga of the same divya-yuga.<\/p>\n

Lord K\u1e5b\u1e63\u1e47a and Lord Caitanya appear once in each day of Brahm\u0101, or once in fourteen manv-antaras, each of seventy-one divya-yugas in duration.<\/p>\n

From the beginning of Brahm\u0101\u2019s day of 4,320,000,000 years, six Manus appear and disappear before Lord K\u1e5b\u1e63\u1e47a appears.<\/p>\n

Thus 1,975,320,000 years of the day of Lord Brahm\u0101 elapse before the appearance of Lord K\u1e5b\u1e63\u1e47a. This is an astronomical calculation according to solar years.<\/p>\n

Srila Prabhup\u0101da – \u201cOh. Anyway, I give you the right figure, four million, according to American or English calculation, (laughter) 4,300,000 years and multiply it by one thousand. Then what it comes according to English calculation?\u201d<\/p>\n

Paramaha\u1e41sa – \u201c4,300,000\u201d.<\/p>\n

Srila Prabhup\u0101da – \u201cThat is twelve hours. And add again twelve hours, night. Then eight billion\u2026? So K\u1e5b\u1e63\u1e47a comes after this period. In one day, after one day of Brahma, He appears\u201d.<\/p>\n

Devotee – \u201c\u015ar\u012bla Prabhup\u0101da, does Lord Caitanya Mah\u0101prabhu also appear every day of Brahma?\u201d<\/p>\n

Srila Prabhup\u0101da – \u201cYes, following K\u1e5b\u1e63\u1e47a. K\u1e5b\u1e63\u1e47a comes in the Dv\u0101para-yuga. There are four periods of each yuga: Sattva, Tret\u0101, Dv\u0101para, Kali. So K\u1e5b\u1e63\u1e47a comes at the end of Dv\u0101para-yuga, and Caitanya Mah\u0101prabhu comes in the Kali-yuga\u201d. End of quotes<\/p>\n

So how do we understand all this?<\/p>\n

We have to understand that a 24 hour day is divided into \u201cday-time and night-time.<\/p>\n

Therefore, it is emphasized that ONLY Lord Brahma\u2019s 12 hour day has all the 1000 Divya-yugas (Maha-yugas) in it.<\/p>\n

Therefore all Maha-yugas occur between “Sunrise and Sunset\u201d during Lord Brahma\u2019s day-time.<\/p>\n

As explained, and needs emphasizing, there are NO Maha-yugas during Brahma\u2019s 12 hour night-time<\/p>\n

This is important to understand.<\/p>\n

The 1000 Maha-yugas happen in the \u201cday-time\u201d (and take 4 billion 320 million human years to happen).<\/p>\n

Lord Brahma\u2019s 12 hour \u201cnight-time\u201d period also takes 4 billion 320 million human years to pass.<\/p>\n

When this \u201c12 hour night-time\u201d starts at Sunset, Lord Brahma sleeps while a partial annihilation goes on throughout Lord Brahma\u2019s night. Remember, he does not create any Maha-yugas during his night.<\/p>\n

So when you add up the \u201cday-time \u201cperiod of 4 billion 320 million human years and then the “night-time \u201cof also 4 billion 320 human million years, you get the full 24 hour day meaning the “day and night\u201d of Lord Brahma which is \u201c8 billion 640 million human years\u201d<\/p>\n

When a new day begins at Sunrise the cycles of Maha yugas starts again at the beginning of each day at Sunrise and finish the same day at Sunset.<\/p>\n

Then there is a partial annihilation between Sunset and Sunrise.<\/p>\n

In this way Lord Krishna and Lord Caitanya Mahaprabhu only come \u201conce\u201d in a day-night 24 hour period of Lord Brahma which is \u201conce\u201d every 1000 Maha-yugas (that occurs during the day-time)<\/p>\n
