\nI am thinking?, as I sit in the dentist
\nchair for a cleaning, wondering if the
\nhygienist sees any meaning, in an
\nugly form of existence–teeth rotting!<\/p>\n
I realize this form of writing is not
\nfor everyone, as it may seem frivolous,
\nunimportant, compared to other discussions,
\nthough for me it gives a voice to the
\ngreat intensity I often feel, though can’t speak.<\/p>\n
So often I’m confronted with my
\ninability to express my deepest feelings
\nand understandings, which indicates a lack
\nof actual realization; although words are limited,
\nsimple, profound expression is given the pure.<\/p>\n
Still, I hope the intensity to share is OK with you,
\nfor me, it’s purification, and to be a giver;
\nexplaining about Krishna is itself uplifting–
\neven mixed with our life, going within deeply
\nhelps us to better understand as we give.<\/p>\n
Prayer and the Name, my constant companion
\nto counteract my illusion that
\neverything is fine with me—NO, it’s not!–
\nas I am still forgetful who I really am as
\nsoul and servant of Krishna–so I need help!<\/p>\n
My dear Sweet Lord of my Heart
\nsave me from complacency, familiarity,
\nego’s enjoying mentality, apart from you,
\nthat this body and it’s possessions are mine–
\ntruly nothing is mine, but you!<\/p>\n
The Naked Truth, my Absolute necessity
\nto cut though the falsity,
\nbringing me misery of physical reality–
\nif only I can realize my self and
\nsee service to you as my only treasure!<\/p>\n
We all must empty out our cups of deception,
\nall our material attachments, desires, fears
\nso we can fill our heart cups full of Prema
\n(your love) and activities favorable to devotion
