Thousands of visitors took blessings of Sri Sri Radha Govindji and Giri Govardhan on New Year day. Ahmedabad city mayor Srimati Bijalben Patel also took blessings on this eve. She performed Aarti and had darshan of Giri Govardhan, she was very amazed to see the Giriraj Govardhan prepared by devotees. And then she went on to see New Govinda\u2019s restaurant. She told \u201cISKCON is only organization around the globe which provides such sattvika food.\u201d And gave her consent to take a meal at Govinda\u2019s with her family.
